This wonderful little squat. Mid-century modern stoneware bud vase was purchased in an antique/2nd hand store in Japan when I lived in Tokyo in 1980.

It originally did have makers sticker and country sticker on the bottom. But it was completely faded over the years and has been removed over time. But I can testify that this was purchased by myself in Japan and was made in Japan, over 40 years ago and had some age at that time.  There are no chips, breaks or repairs. It has a lovely stoneware, gray and mottled color with brown and blue striped glazes. It weighs 4 and 1/4 ounces unpacked weight.  It is approximately 3 and a 1/2 inches high with the base being approximately one and three quarters inches in diameter and the lip is approximately three quarter inches in diameter.

1st time listed. Are retired a year ago january and i'm starting to downsize.
