Silver sheet guard embossed to simulate wire wrap as is correct. 27 5/8” broad fullered blade with faded blue and gilt decoration (right about complete, left weak). The first 2” with oxidation from scabbard condensation and a few other small spots of raised oxidation, all consistent with its age and service.
