Offered is the vintage book "The Architecture of Georgia", written by Frederick Doveton Nichols and published in Savannah by The Beehive Press. The book has a 1976 copyright date and appears to be a first edition. There are hundreds of black and white photos and illustrations of 18th and 19th century homes and a few other buildings across Georgia, primarily exteriors but some interiors. It is an ex-library book. The original dust jacket is included.

The large and heavy book is approx. 11 1/2" x 10" and contains 436 pages. The book itself is in very good condition. The brown hard cloth cover has almost no wear, the gold words on the spine still shiny. There is a small library number label on the spine. There is no cracking inside either the front or the back cover. The red endpapers are clean but do have two blacked-out library labels in the front and the library card pocket in the back. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding, clean and clear, although there is a area covered in black marker on the page edges, seen when the book is closed, and there is a five-digit number stamped on the contents page. I see no writing in the book. The dust jacket is mostly intact, with many short edge tears and some small bits missing from along the top and bottom edges. There is a library number label on the spine.

I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them!
