Two rough pontil scars observed...one inside the dish and another underneath the base.

No cracks or chips to the glass bowl, pedestal or base.

Two of the delicate hand blown swans are missing very small pieces.

One swan is missing its ruffed feather crown (photos 21 and 22).

Another swan missing two of three toes from its foot (photo 23).

Bowl has a 7" inch diameter and the base is 5.25" inches.

The Compote is 7.75" inches tall and weighs 20.6 ounces.

Although it's not marked, or paper label was lost years ago, this compote has all the 

characteristics and attributes of a SALVIATI designed and made compote.
