Created by anime and manga artist Akira Toriyama, this hand-painted illustration cel with hand painted background art from that belonged to Akira Toriyama's studio in Japan (Bird Studio/ Shueisha) & used in the art for production of promotional materials such as Bibi Toys' Super Hero card series in the 1990's. The art features the following characters: Tien Shinhan, Saibamen, Vegeta, Nappa, Goku, Krillin, Chiaotzu & Piccolo.  The cel is taped to a hand-painted background. Cel has a Bird Studio Shueisha, Toei Animation copyright sticker on the bottom right corner, licensed by FUNimation Productions, Inc. This piece of studio art was never intended for public sale. 

The art is well preserved for its age and has no defects (see listing photos for greater detail). The art measures approx. 8.5" by 11" and has a stamp/seal that states:  "Copyright 1998 Bird Studio/ Shueisha, TOEI Animation. Licensed by FUNimation Productions Inc. All Rights Reserved. Dragon Ball Z and all logos, character names and distinctive lionesses thereof are trademarks of TOEI Animation."
