Cruz Ramirez is a young,
Spanish trainer and technician,
 who works at the Rust-eze Racing Center. Ramirez,
 an admirer of Lightning McQueen's talents,
 happy to help the veteran,
 when he turns to her after his accident in the Piston Cup.
 After McQueen recognized her talents,
 she resigns as Rust-eze driver,
 Ramirez takes his place.
 After winning the Florida 500,
 Cruz accepts Dinoco's sponsorship offer
 and becomes a Dinoco pilot in the Piston Cup.
She is still sponsored by Dinoco today.
 Her race number is 51,
 inspired by the late Doc Hudson. 
She used to see Lightning on TV,
 including the 2005 Dinoco 400.
 When Lightning gets angry, she says "Use this!" to him,
 to use anger as motivation.
