Geranium 'Ann Folkard' A.G.M. - ex 9cm (P9) Pot

Geranium ‘Ann Folkard’ is a hardy geranium which produces masses of vivid magenta, saucer-shaped flowers, each with a near-black eye and veining. These appear in profusion on the long, scrambling stems for a long period over summer & into autumn. The foliage, which emerges yellowish-green, darkens as it matures, forming an attractive contrast. It’s perfect for using as ground cover at the front of borders. Easy to grow and tolerant of most conditions except waterlogged soil. Has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (A.G.M.)

Geraniums benefit from cutting back after flowering to encourage more flowers later in the season. Otherwise they are the easiest of all perennials to grow and are loved by butterflies and bees.

Thrives best in sun or partial shade in a well drained soil.

Flowers July to October.

   Maximum Height/Spread approx 50cm x 80cm.

Plants will be supplied well rooted and ready for immediate planting out.  My plants are hard grown i.e. grown outside as soon as they have developed a strong enough root system to survive.  This makes them stronger, healthier & more weather tolerant plants than those which have been grown on rapidly in artificial conditions in a greenhouse.

Postage & Delivery

Plants will be removed from the pot, carefully packed & then sent in secure cardboard packaging to protect them whilst in the postal system. I offer a postage discount for multiple purchases dispatched to the same address. When you buy more than one item you will pay the full postage cost for the first item only, then a discounted rate for each extra item purchased (please see 'postage and payments' tab above for full details). I use Royal Mail for small orders whilst orders over 2kg will be sent by carrier so the MAXIMUM postage you pay need only be £9.95 for any amount of plants. Highland, Island & Offshore delivery addresses may incur additional charges.

PLEASE NOTE - Plants will be dispatched by Royal Mail on the Monday to Thursday following receipt of cleared funds (to avoid plants sitting in the sorting depot over the weekend) and by carrier on the Monday to Wednesday.
