Ownership
Delivered new on 13th Jan 1999 and believed to be a Ford
Management Car
Sold by Chiltern Ford (Receipt Present) on 17th Dec 1999 to
HP6 5NX and used until 2014 with a mileage of approx. 44,000 when it was then
dry stored at BOXD London climate controlled dry storage facility.
In Feb 2022 it came out of dry storage in London and was sold to LE16
9QP
I purchased the car in Nov 22 purely as the previous owner preferred the
Ford Probe that he also owned.
Rarety
The term ‘classic, ‘future classic and investment opportunity’ are used
by everyone wanting to sell an old car so it’s up to you to decide whether this
falls into any of those categories.
I’m only selling this as you really can’t keep everything you have or
want plus everyone’s storage capacity at some point reaches it’s maximum.
As of Q3 of 2023 there were 47 2.5 auto’s on the road with a further 72
registered as sorn. Furthermore only 1 (this one) on the road as a 1999 year model

Overview
This is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. The
market will dictate it’s worth.
Has just shy of 50k on the clock. And comes with an impressive file of
paperwork including full book pack with stamped history, previous purchase
receipts for both the car and service items along the way plus MOT certs from
2013, 2014, 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and it’s current MOT dated 13th
Feb 2024
I purchased the car in October 2022 with the intention of keeping long
term and I immediately did the NC500 in it which it performed perfectly and
returned mid 30’s to the gallon
A friend of mine with a Ford obsession made a strong offer for the car and
I gave in and sold the car to him, even worse I naively let him pay for it over
a period of time. Time passed, money didn’t exchange hands so I took it back
and have been using it on and off since but I’ve decided not to keep it as in
the interim time I bought something else.
MOT wise it’s got just over 10 months left. Please feel free to have a

The car starts and drives well. The automatic gearbox changes up and down as it should
and comes with Sport and Economy settings
and is a very comfortable cruiser.
The rear
seats fold as they should to provide ample load space.
The full
leather interior is immaculate, as is the engine bay and the underside of the
car.
The car
does have a scratch on the O/S rear quarter panel that is obvious from close
inspection it’s about 6 inches long. It’s not through to the metal so could be
addressed at a convenient time in the future.
The radio
has a mind of it’s own too. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It is
the correct radio for the car and I haven’t investigated the issue.
