I opened it for two reasons: 

A.) I was concerned about the batteries being so old, and wanted to remove them in case there was any corrosion.

B.) I wanted to test it and put it back in its shell.

The manual is still shrink-wrapped. This calculator has never been used.

Again, I opened it to change the batteries and test it; that's it. It's brand new.

It has been tested, and I have included 4 brand new Duracell batteries (the calculator requires 3).

I ran a number of calculations. See picture #5. 

Bought this for college, then changed majors. Never took it out of the package.

It needs to finally find a new home.
