Having learnt silver smithing skills in Birmingham England the two began making jewelery by melting down old watch chains. During the 1950's Harold began experimenting with casting small sterling silver replicas of Western Australian wildflowers and using them as finials for hand crafted spoons. He created 37 wild flowers in total and became well known for his spoons. In 1954 The Queen was presented with a box of his spoons.
This particular spoon features the hand crafted feature - BORONIA Flower which has an amazing hand sculptured FLOWERS (8) - the bowl of the spoon is round scalloped shape and is a hammered tone finish - the back of the spoon is completed with the rat-tail finish.
