Estimated to be circa 1940-50s, this is a doll-sized Moses Basket AKA bassinet and tiny celluloid baby doll. The bassinet is made of sturdy fabric covered board with gathered chiffon covering in pastel blue on the exterior. It has a pastel blue ribbon handles and inside, an off-white lace trimmed pillow and pad, both removable. The doll is a 2” celluloid baby doll with a pink complexion, loosely strung arms and legs and a painted face including eyes that don’t open/close. No hair other than moulded wavy hair, no brand markings, and no apparel (original crocheted onesie disintegrated beyond repair).

The dimensions of the bassinet are approximately 3.5” long x 2.25” wide, and 1.25” tall.  The doll is approximately 2” long.

Condition: structurally it is very good; the chiffon skirt and interior bedding are original with a lot of grime and discoloration due to age and storage. The exterior has what appears to be rust stains here and there. The baby doll shows signs of age with chips to the face paint.
