A Print of an Original Photograph of Armourers Signing a Bomb next to a 58 Squadron Armstrong Whitley Mk 5 during it being Bombed Up by the Armourers prior to Operations at RAF Linton on Ouse in 1941.

Date of Original Photo prior to 11th September 1941 ( see below).

Whitley Z6498 GE - D which is featured in the background of the Photograph was lost on a mission to Warnemunde after ditching in the sea off the coast of Denmark on the night of 11th September 1941. 

Thankfully all the Crew survived and were interned as POW’s.

The Photograph is in excellent condition.
