Unusual Cutest Vintage French Handmade Tiny Sock Coin Purse

So I wonder who made this?  Was it for a small child?  Was it made to remember the owner of the sock?  We will never know but this is stinking cute, extremely unusual and you won't find another one.  Great for display, give as an unusual gift or add to a curiosity collection.
