Georgian Mahogany Tea Caddy with Bracket Feet - For Restoration

In need of some work to bring it back to its best. Late 18th Century Box.

Condition: In a reasonable condition for age but in need of a little work, structurally sound but with a  veneer loss to the back corner, a broken and re-glued foot to the front and the hinges have been crudely moved. Typical light knocks, scratches and marks including a number of small decorating paint spots. Inside has been stripped. Lock has been removed. Please also see photos.

Size: 23cm by 14cm by 13cm (excl handle) (approx 9" x 5 1/2" by 5"). Internal 20.2cm by 10.7cm. 7.5cm deep. 623grams.

We do try to recycle boxes and other materials wherever possible and will mostly use newspaper for padding out, if it does not have any impact on the cost of postage.
