This Warming Systems Electric Floor Radiant Heating Kit is perfect for those who want to have warm floors during cold weather. The kit includes a heating cable, digital programmable thermostat, installation monitor, floor temperature sensor, cable guides, and is easy to install in odd shaped rooms or around objects. The heating cable should be embedded in mortar under flooring and is less than 1/8" thick. The thermostat is fully programmable up to 104 F and has a 3-year warranty. The power source is standard house wiring, hard wired and has a power range of 120W - 1800W available with an amp range of 1A - 15A, 1 Amp per 10 Square Feet. The heating cable has a 25-year warranty and is approved for installation in wet areas, such as showers. It is UL listed in the USA and Canada and to be installed under tile, laminate, vinyl, stone, wood, etc.

WARMING SYSTEMS HEATING CABLE

Floor Heating Cable

The Electric Floor Heating Cable consists of a spool of heating cable. Simply run the cable 3" apart across the area to heat using the cable guides to secure to the floor and run the cold lead up the wall to the electrical box. These heating systems are ideal for odd shaped areas or to heat around objects. The RED HEATING ELEMENT CAN NOT BE CUT, so be sure to accurately measure the space you are heating.

PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT w /SENSOR

Model # TH115-AF-120S

This programmable floor sensing thermostat with floor sensor is designed to work with electric floor heating systems. It gives you the ability to accurately control the floor temperature for maximum comfort and energy savings.

The thermostat features high-tech precision with straight forward, user friendly interface and contemporary design with backlit display. This floor sensing thermostat is DIGITAL, PROGRAMMABLE, and includes the FLOOR SENSOR.

USER FRIENDLY-Easy to operate. This thermostat is 120 volts, rated for 16 amps, easily switching between F and C temperature scales. This thermostat is not GFCI protected. Fits into a standard 2" x 4" square electrical box.

The floor sensor is included with the thermostat and runs down the wall and into the heated area to give an accurate floor temperature reading. The sensor probe is installed in between the heating elements.

The thermostat also has a built in "Ambient" temperature sensor that allows for dual temperature control.

INSTALLATION MONITOR

The Installation Monitor measures continuity of the heating system during installation and will alarm if the heating system gets damaged. It will give you peace of mind while installing the floor warming system. Connect the system leads to the monitor prior to installation. The monitor will "scream" a warning in the event the heating element is cut or damaged allowing you to make any necessary repairs before the heating system is embedded in mortar. If the alarm sounds, stop work and consult the operation manual. We still recommend checking the ohms of the floor heating system with a multimeter before, during, and after installation.

CABLE GUIDES

Designed for fast installation of the heating cable, simply loop the floor heating cable around the guide as you lay the cable system across the subfloor.

Secure the cable guides according to the planned layout using screws, nails, adhesive or glue approved for use with the given subfloor. The heating element should be spaced 3" apart across the area to be heated. Cable guides should be run perpendicular to heating cables. The heating cables should have a minimum distance of 2" from walls and objects. Spacing between cable guides should not exceed 36" in distance. Secure the heating element to cable guides by wrapping the wire around the stud. Maintain moderate tension of cable throughout installation. Do not twist heating element and keep the minimum bending radius of the cable to 1".

Cable guides are 12" long and can be cut to length. Includes enough cable guides for cable heating system.
