Vintage Desk Magnifier. Big and very heavy. Made in France.

I’m not sure if this was part of something or had a stand that it was attached to as there are holes and slits in the metal.

Amazing heavy piece, in good condition with some ware marks to the surrounding metal and some in the glass, see photos.
