Antique French Wool Needlepoint Ecclesiastical Church Altar Trim Cloth c1890 6ft 11"

An absolutely charming antique French needlepoint church altar trim/cloth c1890s.  In excellent condition for its age with a few spots of missing stitches, mainly to one end which could be repaired if so desired.  A hand sewn linen backing with gorgeous bronze bullion trimming (a few strands missing, nothing major but mentioned for accuracy). Was secured with rusty old pins that I have removed.  Perfect for a private chapel or perhaps trimming a bed canopy.
