This is an absolutely stunning and exceptionally rare vintage mid-century modern ROSEWOOD dining set by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.  This set was made in Denmark in the early 1950's and is the earliest variant of this design.  The set consists of a Model 3600 Rosewood topped dining table resting on 4 polished steel legs and 6 Model 3100 "Ant Chairs", again in Rosewood sitting on polished steel legs.

Finding a complete set of this early model is very rare, and far more rare finding a Rosewood variant of this set (if you find them they are almost always in Teak).  Do not let this set pass you by as you will for sure struggle to find another.

The table dimensions are approximately 47" round (diameter) x 27" high.

The chair dimensions are approximately 30" high x 16" wide x 19" deep with a seat height of 17.5".

The dining set is in overall wonderful condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.  The dining table top presents in nearly flawless condition with only a small / negligible indentation to note (roughly 1/4").  The legs are polished and offer a great shine, with minor oxidation in certain areas as expected with a table of this age.  The chairs are in great overall condition with some minor wear on the seats due to use over the years.  There are a few minor veneer chips which has been professionally touched up (unnoticeable unless closely inspected).  One of the chairs has slight delamination on the underside.  They have original mounting hardware as pictured.

Please see all photos for additional details on the item's description / condition as they are part of the listing description.
