I had it made as a duplicate of the 440 A-134 hi-po specs, true 2-stage springs, a true street performance curve: Less than 4 deg. mechanical adv. below 650 RPM (for cranking) approx. 8 deg. at 950 (fast idle) Approx 13 deg. at 2500 (HP) Vacuum: near-zero at 10" vac, then 9-10 deg @ 15" (fuel economy / no oil dilution) Note that these numbers are all DISTRIBUTOR degrees, double for crankshaft degrees. For most setups you'd want to run initial around 8 crank degrees BTDC. Feel free, of course, to rework the advance curve to fit special applications (crazy hot cam, etc.) Will NOT fit RB-engine (i.e., 413-426-440 CID), check my store for the correct distributor for those engines. also check store for the tan alkyd cap version, for correct 65-up appearance,. Ready to drop in and plug into any Chrysler electronic ignition system! Will also work with MSD units. Need wiring, ECU, etc? Check my store for a complete upgrade kit with this same distributor. Buyer to add low-cost S&H per calculator (see tab above); shipped worldwide. |
