Each speedlite requires 4 x AA batteries and the trigger needs 2 x AA batteries (not included). Speedlite feet will be packaged inside a sleeve inside the pouches.

The speedlites feature a 2.4GHz wireless radio transmitter and receiver, so capable of being triggered by the YN560-TX controller as well as triggering other units. Metal hot shoe for on-camera triggering as well. Large LCD screens, built-in bounce cards, eight levels of flash output with 29 individual settings.
