1910 Antique Three Section Civil War Veterans' Medal GAR Representative Atlantic City, New Jersey

A very handsome original Civil War veterans medal worn a by Natl Delegate at the 44th National Grand Army Encampmentat Atlantic City, New Jersey, 1910. The Large 3-pc bronze medal has a cast bronze eagle pinbar, a  color enameled GAR Representative oval, a silvered clam shell with porcelain Absecon Atlantic City lighthouse with boardwalk ocean scene.

Measuring about 3 1/2" Long by 2" Wide.

The GAR or Grand Army of the Republic was a fraternal organization composed of veterans of the Union Army, Union Navy, Marines and the U.S. Revenue Cutter Service who served in the American Civil War for the United States forces.
