There are a variety of oil pump pick ups available for Small Block Chev engines. Standard pick-ups are push in and have been known to fall out. This pick up suits a small block Mellings oil pump that allows a bolt on pick-up such as the Mellings #10555 high volume oil pump.

This pick up works with a SB Chev High Volume Oil Pan that is 7.0" or 17.78 cm deep oil pan.

We also carry the #12558 bolt on pick up that suits a 7.5" or 19 cm deep oil pan.

Always check the clearance between the bottom of your oil pan and the lowest point of the pick up. To little or too much clearance can cause engine failure.
