The Godin factory where Art Luthier is produced is located in the small rural town of Princeville in the province of Quebec in eastern Canada. Products from our sister brands, Godin and Seagull, which are known as Canada's leading guitars, are also produced here. Using high-quality Canadian wood, unique designs based on years of research into acoustic properties, production lines with modern equipment, and highly skilled staff, we are able to supply attractive original guitars all over the world.
Approximately 95% of the wood used in Art Lussier's guitars is sourced locally in Canada. Another benefit of being made in Canada is that production costs are lower than in the United Item conditions and European countries, so guitars made from high-quality wood can be produced at attractive prices.
The Roadhouse uses the original parlor size, which is even more compact than Martin's O, and is a unique model with a 12th fret joint. The New Yorker-style body is reminiscent of pre-war guitars, and in addition to the colored denim blue color and pearloid pickguard, it also features a vintage-style open gear tuner, giving it a retro-flavored finish.
The preamp is equipped with a Q-Discrete system, and the top of the body has bell knob volume and tone controls similar to a solid electric guitar, giving it a stylish and distinctive appearance.
The compact body is easy for beginners and women to handle and is perfect for carrying around, and because it uses a 630mm scale, you can enjoy long sustain and a powerful sound despite being parlor-sized.
This model has a thin matte finish, but due to the nature of the paint, there may be unevenness or particles in the surface finish.
