Paul McCartney: Tug Of War (EXTREMELY RARE 2000 JAPANESE PROMOTIONAL Mini LP Replica CD TOCP-65513) LONG OUT OF PRINT.
After the demise of Wings and despite "Back To The Egg" and "McCartney II" both going top 10 world wide, by Paul's standards, 1979 &1980 was considered a lean and experimental period even though he still sold millions of albums. To cap it off, we lost John Lennon in 1980. No doubt Paul took it hard. Two years later in 1982 he re-emerged with what many consider his solo classic "Tug Of War".
Instead of locking himself away in his farm studio, Paul turned to the genius of George Martin and a wonderful collaboration with Stevie Wonder. One of the all time classic albums and a global No.1 smash for Paul putting him back on top of the mountain.
This
is an EXTREMELY RARE PROMOTIONAL ADVANCE REVIEW COPY of the 2000 Japanese Mini LP Replica CD ISSUE OF Paul McCartney: Tug Of War.
ONE OF THE JEWELS OF MY COLLECTION. I absolutely love all the Japanese issues above the rest of the world, not
only sonically but for the fantastic packaging. I have another non promo
copy of this CD and it sounds awesome. As a collector the most
important thing is rarity. There aren't many of these around, and I
can't find another PROMO COPY of this anywhere else in the world that is
mint, brand new like mine, in fact I can't find another promo copy at all.
As the years
go by, these albums are going to get harder and harder to find as CD
production is falling every year. It won't be long before rare CD's are
selling for more than vinyl. CD's don't wear out, vinyl records do. I
grew up with vinyl but the only thing I miss are the covers.
OUT
OF PRINT JAPANESE PROMO PRESSING. Toshiba
Japanese promo CD's are the most sought after by collectors like me
because the stamping and numbering on the inner ring of the CD means
they make a separate glass master just for promo samples. This means
only one metal master stamper is produced instead of the
father-mother-stamper method for regular CD's. This means SUPREME
QUALITY, or the best it possibly can be as an exact copy of the original
master without any data loss in production.
Personally, I love
collecting Japanese CD's, they are generally superior quality to the
rest of the world on every level in my opinion. All the JAPANESE CD's I
own are the best sounding in the world with very few exceptions!!
IT IS BRAND NEW HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED FROM THE ORIGINAL WEEK OF RELEASE, STILL FACTORY SEALED. Has been packed away in storage for nearly 17 years!
*Please note the CD will probably have sample not for sale or something similar in Japanese around the inner ring of the CD.

Shipping:
I
only ship with Australia Post Satchels (except for a few large items
and very cheap items) which includes tracking, insurance and signature
upon delivery. The satchels also give me enough room for protective
packaging in a box to make sure your purchase arrives in perfect
condition. This also satisfies PayPal and credit card protection
policies for buyer & seller. All local shipping options in eBay's
system are correct, however:
*INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE, I USE 500G SATCHELS WITH TRACKING, INSURANCE AND SIGNATURE ONLY!
If you click on "postage & Payments" tab and select your country, it will say:
Option 1: International Standard: tracked-signature. This means a 500g Standard International satchel (6 to 17 business days)
Option 2: AU Post Express : tracked-signature (2 to 4 business days) This means a 500g Express International satchel.
Duty & Tax
Most
countries around the world are now charging VAT Tax on almost
everything, so delivery times have slowed a little due to customs clearances,
please check customs rules for your country, you might have to
pay a bit
extra. For example: The USA charges NOTHING UP TO $800USD so you will
get your order quickly, UK charges 20% VAT on anything over 19GBP so it
could take an extra week to get through customs at Langley. The EU
countries, France, Italy, Spain etc charge VAT over 22 Euros. China is
free up to $300USD.
Please message me through eBay with any questions. Cheers Neal

use Australia Post satchels with tracking, insurance and signature. I
won't do cheap postage in case the parcel gets lost or damaged, this way
you are always covered. We haven't had a lost or damaged parcel yet but
it's bound to happen sooner or later.
Returns:
I
am not a shop, just a music collector selling personal possessions. As
the items I sell are mostly "one of" rarities, I do not accept returns,
