A Poolewood PW28-40 Superlathe in very good used condition. Massively built from cast iron for rigidity and low vibration. Continuously variable speed drive and powered by a 750watt (output) 4 pole single phase motor.

Spindle speeds 290 to 2700rpm. Tailstock has a 2mt bore. Maximum workpiece diameter over the bed is 350mm x 1020mm between centres. The headstock will rotate, enabling workpieces of 700mm diameter to be turned.

Overall length of the base is 1750mm. Please examine the photos carefully to assess the condition and to see what is included in the sale.

I have dismantled the lathe in order to make it possible to move. Reassembly will be required, although this is not difficult. Please make sure you are able to transport it. Collection only from DY10 3JJ.
