The box car comes bundled with the Lionel Mail Pick Up Set 12729. The kit includes an accessory switch, mail unit with flag and red hanging mail bag with magnet. When the box car goes by, the mail bag attaches to the corresponding magnet affixed to the yellow box car. These well loved items are vintage, manufactured in the United States in the 1980’s.
