Originally purchased in 1970 by a Physician in LA directly from the dealer and only a few months later, he sold it to a fellow Physician with virtually no miles having placed on it prior. The car was relocated to a small town in California where it was used for leisure only, with the odometer registering an original 77k miles when the current owner purchased it in 2021. The Current Owner flat bed the vehicle home and had it fully restored by John Esposito beginning in 2021-Current (only a few minor details left to complete.)
This OEM gem has a gorgeous paint job, no rust, refinished trim, glass, all new seals and felts, etc complete with brand newly refinished/furbished targa top that was done with the exact materials available in 1970, which is extremely hard to come by and adds to the originality of the car.
In addition to the beautiful exterior down to the metal restoration, much of the interior was restored with refurbishing as much of the original items as possible, replacing only the mandatory items to preserve the history of this rare classic. Finally, the matching numbers original motor received a refresh (new seals, belts, plugs, etc) and runs like a dream!
