BacchusJapanTune-up series
All products in the JT series are designed so that players can start using them right away, and we spare no time and effort in adjusting and setting up each product at our division specializing in visors in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. Inheriting the spirit of Bacchus' top-of-the-line Handmade Series, which began in 2001, we deliver instruments that players can trust with confidence and produce the best performance.
About JT series
The biggest feature is the final process, which is carried out by experienced Japanese craftsmen. WDG WorkshopDeviserGuitars, the domestic division of Deviser, carefully finishes the parts that directly affect playability.
Fret finishing treatment for accurate tone
Nut saddle processing improves playability
In addition to the above-mentioned work, we thoroughly perform tune-up items such as string height adjustment and final finishing of the fingerboard, which are directly linked to playability. New guitars and basses are often difficult to play, but with the JT series, we are committed to supporting the player's musical life from the day they are purchased.
Spalted maple that exudes individuality
The biggest feature of this machine is the spalted maple used for the top material. Spalted is a term used for wood that has developed a characteristic pattern of heather grain as a result of wood decay due to bacteria and other factors in nature. It is often used to decorate crafts, giving it a slightly different feel from the traditional flame and quilt heather.
This has individual differences in the grain of spalted maple.
The paint is not a glossy gloss finish, but a matte finish with an extremely thin coating. By using an open pore method that does not intentionally bury the wood conduits, string vibrations are transmitted more directly to the body than with a typical thick painted surface.
Slim body inherited from WOODLINE
Inherits the dinky-shaped body of WOODLINE, cultivated in the Handmade series. It is designed to be slightly slimmer than the general JB type electric bass, and has excellent playability. In addition, black binding is applied to the outer circumference of the body, aiming for a luxurious and toned look.
Featureial brass neck plate
Adopts an original neck plate made of high-density brass. It is heavier than conventional products, and features a bass tone that spreads throughout the dense mid-bass range.
Active circuit allows for flexible sound creation
Like the active models in the Handmade series, it is equipped with a 2-band EQ to support detailed sound making during performance. It can also be used as a passive type by changing the mini switch.
Roasted maple neck with increased rigidity
This model also uses the roasted maple neck, which is popular as a new standard for Bacchus. By adding heat treatment, the neck not only boasts high rigidity and is resistant to warping, but also produces a dry sound with a good start.
