Here is a rare, antique, 19th century pharmacy or lab bottle or jar in a canary yellow glass.
It features a ground stopper that glows under UV light.
Strangely, the jar itself does NOT glow under the UV light. The stopper is original to the jar because it has a perfect, snug, tight fit.
The entire piece measures 4- 3/8ths inches tall, by 2 inches in diameter, while the mouth opening diameter is 1- 3/8ths inches.
This jar is in very good, overall used antique, condition with just two small chips on the stopper. One chip is on the underside of the stopper's lip rim, and the other is on the bottom rim of the stopper.
Otherwise the jar is clean and bright, and free from damage, or other issues aside from some light scratches and surface wear consistent with its age and use. (See photos).
