Offered is a vintage Lionel #6-9570 PRR (NON-ILLUMINATED) ALUMINUM BAGGAGE CAR which according to Greenberg (pp. 117) of his 2023 ed. of the Lionel PPG was manufactured in 1979 only.

I looked the car over very carefully and it does appear to be new-in-the-box.

It's an attractive car and the doors work very smoothly.

The only thing that I can see that does detract from its condition is that THERE IS A SMATTERING OF MINOR SURFACE RUST ON THE UNDERSIDE.  It's not serious and I did wipe it carefully with WD-40.  That would be the car's only detraction.  If you study the photos carefully perhaps (I hope) you can notice this.  As I stated, it's minor---but it's there.

If you happen to be a purist (like me) the car has an easy disassembly with 4 bottom screws.  Once apart, the steel frame could readily be wiped with oil.

This is a very nice, aluminum car that's app. 45 years old.

Greenberg from the above text assigns a value to this car of from $85. up to $115.
