Measures approximately 9” across the bottom and approximately 9” from brim to crown (just below the giant pom pom).

My Dad has been storing this since the early 80’s. I did wash it in cold water and air dried it flat. There are no weird smells associated with it and you can wear the hat right out of the mailing envelope. I will put it in a ziplock before sealing the envelope.

My brother & I got each got one from my parents as gifts; they both worked at John Deere Engine Works & I believe they came out of a work catalog for employee swag. My brother’s had “John Deere” actually knitted into it, BUT THIS ONE DOES NOT.

This hat is in good used condition ~ see photos. It’s been worn less than 5 times ~ what a fun hat with a lot of wear left in it.

THE HAT IS AN ADULT SIZED HAT. However, I have a big ol’ head and it’s tight on me, but my Dad & Brother have smaller (normal, lol) sized heads and it fits them just fine. If your head fits most hats, you it should fit you, but if you have trouble finding hats to fit, it won’t. The knit is a stiffer (not uncomfortable) and tighter knit consistent with ski hats from that era.

This beanie is yellow with a HUGE pom pom on top. It’s stripes are all of the colors of the rainbow except purple (ROYGB only) ❤️🧡💛💚💙

THE HAT HAS BEEN WASHED TWICE since it was removed from storage, and was NOT worn after washing 😃
