1975 C. F. Martin D-45 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar made in Nazareth, PA. & original hardshell case.
R*sewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, mah*gany neck and ebony fingerboard.
Finished in natural lacquer. Beautiful Pearl trim all around and Pearl inlays.
These were top-of-the-line guitars in 1975. Originally discontinued at the onset of WWII were re-introduced in 1969 due to popular demand and were produced until 1975.
Last year of this batch. These were originally sold for over $2k by 1974 and the case was extra. Not many were produced due to the price and selling numbers at the time.
This one comes with the original blue hardshell case also in great condition.
The overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.),
The Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.)
15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) width at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) depth at the neck side. .
The nut width is 43mm. This guitar weighs 2.165Kg or 4.77Lb
This is a very clean example and shows only minor signs of wear.
