- This device has been installed and tested under Windows 7 and 10 and performed just fine. No issues with installation or operation. It played music from CD's and video from DVD's as well as wrote files to CD-R's and DVD-R's.
- Disclosure: This connects with a Y-cable which is included. Per the manufacturer's instructions, you must have two (2) USB ports available as some laptops and notebooks can't provide enough power to an external writer using just one port. If you connect to just one USB port you'll see an intermittent message that the device was detected then not detected.
