moderate to heavy spot pitting throughout ,it is complete with no broken off tips both mounting bolts have been cut off so will probally take some work to get those out to remount it see pic 2 

for the mid 1950s era unsure exact year, ford pm 16853-a hood ornament jet plane measures 9 1/4" long x 6" wide x about 1 3/4" tall
