Bachmann 30-170 ‘Thames Clyde Express’ Train Set NRM Heritage Collection

A very special set from Bachmann Branchline, portraying the Thames Clyde express comprising Midland Compound 4-4-0 Steam Locomotive No. 1000 plus 3 coaches, track and controller.

As 1000 is part of the National Railway Museum’s collection, restored and preserved in the same Midland Railway livery of c.1914 depicted here, this set is part of the NRM heritage collection.

Track, power controller, power clip and transformer are all unused. Loco has evidently had some light use but is in excellent condition. Detailing kit for loco remains unused in bag. Coaches appear to still be taped inside box so may also be unused.

Loco has been tested and is in full working order.

IMPORTANT - please note that the box outer has a fair bit of staining from several years in storage, as shown in photos. Contents, however, are mostly in mint condition.
