Alter Brooklyn is a stylish fashion boutique on Franklin Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that has been thriving for 17 years, and is still in business today. That's kind of a WOW statement for a brick-and-mortar boutique. Just this past weekend, I stopped in and it was packed. I bought many things there over the years, including this striking conversation-starter Sterling silver necklace.
The upside-down clothing hanger is the Alter logo, and they had a limited run custom made around 2007 when they first opened. If you are a fan of Alter, you will love this collector's item // rare piece of Alter fashion history. I have stored this in a plastic jewelry bag to prevent tarnishing. I will include the bag with purchase, as well as a cute dustbag. It's a surprise. Over the years, I have not needed to shine it up or polish it. Hope you get the necklace and love it! Makes an especially great gift for any fashion enthusiast.
