Serotta Steel Road Bike with Campagnolo Chorus Carbon - 57cm

For Sale: a very nice lugged steel Serotta that runs a Campagnolo Chorus 2x10 drivetrain with Campy Chorus brakes. The finish has been repainted from original but still looks like a true Serotta. This is a simple and elegant road bike with subtle styling but plenty of performance left. A rideable collectible or perhaps a restoration starting point. We aren’t sure what the exact model is, but due to the “Colorado” engraved in the fork lugs (see photo), we believe this is a Serotta Colorado. The seat tube, down tube, chain stay junction have been fillet brazed and are very smooth and show some of the craftsmanship that went into this handmade beauty.

With a 56cm effective top tube and a 57cm seat tube (c-c), this bike should fit most riders in the 5'9" to 6'0" range.

Parts highlights include the Campy Chorus carbon cranks (172.5mm), Campy Chorus carbon derailleur, Campy Chorus carbon levers/shifters, Campy Proton wheels, Nitto 65 seatpost, Ritchey WCS 4 axis stem, Ritchey WCS carbon Evo Curve drop bar, Specialized Bridge saddle, and Michelin Power Competition 700x25c tires.

(used, this Serotta is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. There are two small dings in the top tube, but these are merely cosmetic and do not affect the durability of the bike (see photos). There is some wear and patina, normal for a bike of this age. The tires are rideable but should probably be replaced in the near future. Mechanically the bike is in excellent condition, upon proper re-assembly by a qualified mechanic, the bike should be ready to ride. Please see all photos for close-up details.)
