• Antique 1921 Longines Travel Watch in Sterling Silver Case
  • Per Longines regarding the watch:
  • "The original serial number 3'792'828 identifies a metal calotte with a silver fluted bezel for a leather case and a silver crown. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 19.41. It was invoiced on 30 July 1921 to the company A. Wittnauer Co., which was at that time our agent for the USA. Originally, the dial only had the inscription "8 Days" and the radium numerals. Based on the pictures received, we can deduce that some transformations have probably been done after the watch has left the company."
  • The face of the watch says Shreve Co. 8 Days
  • Case is marked Sterling and Serial # 5459BT, maker unknown
  • Weight 243.3 grams with case and watch
  • Measures 3" x 3 3/8" x 5/8"
  • Condition: Watch is untested and likely needs servicing.  Sterling Silver case has some dents. patina, and light surface scratches.  Engraved with initials FMH.  Overall this shows as a lovely collectible item with charm and novelty.  Please see pictures showing item details and condition.,
