I'm offering the Runaways album "Waitin' For The Night" released in 1977 by Mercury Records. In stereo. Length: 39:01, 10 songs. Catalog #SRM-1-3705. In its original jacket and sleeve. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. It's in mint condition. The jacket is in mint condition still in its factory plastic wrap opened at one edge. The Mercury sleeve inside is in mint condition. Included is a publicity photo of the band printed on an 8½"x11" sheet of paper. (seen below) Plus you get an insert that came with the album containing song lyrics and measuring 11½"x11½" in mint condition. Combine auctions and save on shipping. |

The Runaways were an American all-female rock band who recorded and performed from 1975 to 1979. Formed in 1975 in Los Angeles, the band released four studio albums and one live album during its run. Among their best-known songs are "Cherry Bomb", "Hollywood", "Queens of Noise" and a cover version of the Velvet Underground's "Rock & Roll". Never a major success in the United States, the Runaways became a sensation overseas, especially in Japan, thanks to the single "Cherry Bomb". "Waitin' for the Night" was their third studio album. It was originally released on October 7, 1977. This is the first album to feature the band as a quartet, as rhythm guitarist Joan Jett took over lead vocals in the wake of the departure of Cherie Currie for a solo career and Vicki Blue replaced Jackie Fox on bass. © Wikipedia (A side note.
