The Maya Calendar is a strategy game. The goal is to collect the most victory points until the big Tzolkin turns again. Of course, you can't incur the wrath of the gods if you want to lead your tribe to victory.

The Maya were an early civilization known for their unique crafts, complex architecture, sophisticated mathematics, and advanced knowledge of the visible universe. At the heart of their society was the Tzolk'in - a 260-day annual calendar designed to use the movements of the planets to predict the best time for sowing and harvesting, building monuments, and performing ritual ceremonies. Become the Ajaw - the leader of a Mayan tribe - who pays homage to the gods and leads his civilization to prosperity.

The heart of the game is the Tzolk'in calendar, which drives the game forward with its fascinating gear mechanics. Players must plan their actions carefully in advance, because the situation on the game board is constantly changing due to the gears of the calendar.

There are many areas that need to be paid attention to: the harvest has to be brought in and raw materials have to be extracted. New technologies are to be discovered, impressive monuments can be built, and the gods demand reverence. Only the Ajaw who manages to bring all areas into a good balance will be able to lead his tribe to victory.
