This Renault in-car USB adapter interface is compatible with the Renault Clio and plugs directly into the back of your original Renault car stereo (see compatibility information below). This Renault USB adapter allows you to connect almost any portable audio device: USB hard-disc, USB flash-drive pen, iPod, iPhone or iPad (via 3.5mm jack only), Mini-Disc player (via 3.5mm jack), CD player (via 3.5mm jack), MP3 player (USB or 3.5mm jack), Mobile phone music player (via 3.5mm jack), SD and MMC cards. (iPod/iPhone can ONLY be connected via 3.5mm AUX).

The Renault USB adapter provides MP3 folder and track control (via USB) plus USB power to the device. There is also an SD card slot and 3.5mm jack aux input making this Renault Clio USB interface a truly versatile device.

Renault Clio USB adapter CTARNUSB003 features

Renault USB adapter simply plugs into the CD changer input at the rear of the Renault Clio radio (see compatibility information below).
To access an external USB device via the interface simply select CDC or CD Changer mode on your stereo.
To access music it is important that the music has been saved/organised into folders named CD01, CD02 ... CD06. It is recommended that each folder contains a maximum of 99 tracks/songs.
To change tracks use the seek buttons on the stereo or steering wheel controls.
Random track play can be activated by pressing the random button if present on stereo.

This Renault CTARNUSB003 USB adapter is compatible with the following: 

• Renault Clio – 2000 - 2009 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Renault Megane – 2000 - 2008 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Renault Kangoo – 2000 - 2014 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Renault Laguna – 2000 - 2008 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Renault Scenic – 2000 - 2009 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Renault Twingo – 2007 - 2014 with factory fitted Renault stereo - Tuner List, Update List, Carminat.
• Plus other Renault models with compatible head-unit. PLEASE NOTE - some newer models (2009 onwards) have a newer connector type (Quadlock), if so you will need a different adapter.
• Not compatible with Renault navigation systems.

IMPORTANT: This adapter is for earlier models with mini-ISO connectors at the rear (see image below). This adapter may not be compatible with some models that have a built-in CD changer (rather than separate in boot) as it requires an external CD changer input. If unsure please contact us for advice.
