Set is in Very Good condition, by which we mean it has light marks of age and/or wear from light handling, but is still a desirable copy. Light foxing to first/last few pages. Small amounts of dampstaining to some page edges. A few creased page corners/edges. Some rubbing and wear to boards and edges. Some volumes have some spotting to leather. Previous owner's signature in ink to fly leaf and first title page of each volume, some volumes have a previous booksellers small embossed stamp. Charles Churchill by John Forster has minor notations in ink.
