In great preowned vintage condition with some wear to the silver trim detailing This water jug was produced by by Arthur Wood, dates from the 1940's or 1950's and had been used for many years as an individual serving water jug to accompany a glass of Whisky in a British Pub before being retired and placed on display.

Measuring approximately 12cm in height x 15 cm across the rim from spout to handle x 8 cm across the base, this handsome brown pottery jug has been printed on one side a huntsman on horseback galloping through the country side and two beagle dogs in full stride in chase, while the opposite side has an image a huntsman on horseback trotting through the country side and one beagle dog

The rim of the jug and base along with part of the 'pinch' handle have been finished with a metallic hand painted trim while the base has been stamped with the makers name, country of origin and title of the piece as shown in the photos above.
