Israel mint- set num. 5745.

The set includes 5 coins- 1, 0.5 new Shekels and 10 ,1, 5 Agora.

This is the first coin set in new Sheqels


Comes in original package- a cardboard sleeve with a clear hard plastic case and a card explaining the meaning of the symbols on the coins.

These coins differ from those currently in circulation, which they are intended to replace not only in face value, but also in size as they are much smaller. The new 1 agora, 5 agorot, and 10 agorot coins, respectively bear a harp design taken from an antique seal which belonged to a Judean princess of the 7th Century, B.C.E.
The 1 new sheqel coin carries a lily and the inscription "YHD" (for JUDEA) in ancient Hebrew script, derived from a coin used in Judea at the time of the Persian rule (4th Century B.C.E- 6th Century B.C.E.).
