This model was specially ordered by Antonio Sanchez to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the founding of Kurosawa Musical Instruments.
The prototype of the modern classical guitar was established in the late 19th century by Spanish makers led by Antonio de Torres, who improved upon the 19th century guitar that was mainstream at the time.
Based on the Torres model produced in 1958 by current owner Tsunesaburo Kurosawa, who founded Kurosawa Musical Instruments Store in 1957, the head shape and muzzle design of Antonio de Torres, the father of the modern guitar, were created by Antonio Sanchez, a guitar studio in Valencia, Spain. This is a custom-made model reproduced in limited numbers.
The body is made of pine (spruce) veneer for the top and rosewood for the sides and back.
It has a clear, unmistakable sound that is typical of a Spanish-made product, and I think this model will satisfy everyone from beginners to advanced users.
