Vintage SONY TC-142with Cord and Case
Well......I can't add electronic repair to my resume that is for sure.....LOLThis unit is in AWESOME shape.....but.....the cassette door had both tabs broken off so it wouldnot open or close as it should....so I tried to rig it with a couple small hinges to open and close...after several attempts (you can see the small screw holes) I ended up with one hinge in center...and with some help it worksBut....can NOT get a cassette to play....FF, REWIND, etc all work...but not play....Spindles turn, counter turns, battery/power indicator works....etc.I am thinking it probably needs a set of new belts....and maybe more.This has the original SONY leather (red felt lined) protective case, SONY shoulder strap, and SONY wall cord adapterLeather case is stamped....MADE IN JAPANBattery compartment is pristineIt is being sold for PARTS OR REPAIR at this point
