I bought this early last year and have made a start on stripping it down but mainly I have been scouting ebay and Casa Lambretta (France) gathering parts to help the rebuild. So Far there is about £1000 approx in parts- mainly new , some second hand. There are some "bling" bits as well. The LD itself is quite rusty but that is easy treated - my plan was to replace the majority of the bodywork -the existing legshields for example could be unsavable. The frame looks straight and usable and the LD is pretty much complete. Engine is seized of course, probably due to many years of no-use. I have the papers as seen in the photos to reclaim the registration number.
This year I found an NSU Prima D , one of which was my first bike (very much!) back in the day. After much thought I have decided to put the LD on the market - if it sells, it sells, if not then no problem. I would rather concentrate on the Prima as it means more to me and put the LD on the back burner if it does not sell. Looking at ebay prices I think that the LD is about £500 and the bits around £1000, odd. I know of 2 good transport guys, one up north and one locally, if that helps. I would not mind another Prima D if there is a deal to be had there
Forgot to mention that included in the sale will be a shot blasting gun and some grit so the buyer can clean up the frame. I also have a large clear plastic "tent" type thing to act as a blasting cabinet. Should you want a compressor then I have one which would be by separate negotiation
