Selling my wife’s Cooper S Sidewalk having been in her ownership for the last 5 years, there is a genuine reason it is being sold due to an ongoing illness otherwise we would be keeping this rare edition Mini.
Since she has owned the car, I have replaced the Flywheel and Clutch (engine/transmission out of the car) with lots of photos to document the work. Whilst engine was removed, lots of oil seals and gaskets were replaced plus new parts including replacement oil cooler, timing chain tensioner, driveshafts x2, brake discs for drilled options plus pads, new lower suspension arms with polyurethane rear bushes on anti roll bar and rear lower suspension arms, power steering motor (genuine Mini), stainless steel exhaust system cat back, K&N panel air filter to keep original look, all service parts including plugs, oil/filter, fuel filter in tank, auxiliary drive belt plus tensioner.. The list goes on and on….
The supercharger oil (both sections) was renewed and a 15% supercharger pulley was fitted..
I have loads of paperwork for the vehicle and over 200 photos showing all the work completed.
The wheels were refurbished and the Matt black finish was changed to a gloss black with the scallops all diamond cut..
Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres were fitted all round.
The car has also been clayed to remove any road tar/traffic film from the paintwork and the plastic arches and side sills recoloured to original black look.
The hood has been steam cleaned and treated as they do tend to get algae build up.
Inside, I’ve replaced the gear knob for a brand new original as leather was worn and all carpets have been steam cleaned.
The leather has been treated twice in our ownership to keep it soft and supple.
The passenger door speaker was replaced with an original Harmon Kardon to match the rest of the system.
The front seats are both heated but the driver side seat heater switches off when you move around on seat (one of the heater lines is probably worn)
Car has reversing beepers which function all ok.
Other bits and pieces have been replaced/cleaned etc but too much to list..
The car comes with 2 remote keys.
We have paperwork to show what was bought and replaced plus service history from when we purchased the car in September 2018
Like I said, we are only putting for sale because the car is now parked up on the drive and wont be being used for at least a year, maybe longer..
The cars supercharger makes a lovely whine and Coupled with the stainless exhaust, she turns heads all around town!!
