Made by Doyusha of Japan and available exclusively in that market, this model is from their "Running Diecast Dash" series of scale model cars.
The series is around 1:64 scale (described as "palm sized" in the Japanese promotional materials), with each car being around 1.5 to 2 inches long, depending on the real car (the Audi is the smallest, the Cayenne the largest). They all come with a pull-back type motor so they can be played with, but the detail level is excellent, with headlamp lenses being seperate plastic components, so they stand very nicely as models too.
This particular model is a Chevrolet Corvette C6-R, in black. The model you see in the pictures is the exact one you will receive.
The car bodies are diecast metal, with the chassis and detailing parts being of plastic construction. Originally, these cars were sold "blind boxed", so you cannot see in advance which one you will get, with a total of 12 cars to collect in total. To avoid you dealing with this rigamorole, I have opened these to confirm the contents, but they are otherwise untouched. I have some duplicates, so in some cases you can choose which car you prefer.
