Antique Long Case Brass Clock Movement Wilkes & Son - Painted Dial - For Repair.
As found and untested. The movement is sold as spares or repair only.
The name Wilkes & Son is stamped on the back as shown in the pictures. Limited research suggests that they were a dial maker in business in Birmingham the early 1800s.
The square section of the dial measures 30.5cm square. The curved top section is an additional 13cm tall.
The movement is mounted on a wooden base. The depth of the movement from the back of the dial is approx 14cm.
The pendulum is also included but is very bent as can be seen in the pictures.
